If you live in Houston, it isn't a question of if you'll have foundation work done to your home, but when you'll have that work done.  Our house was built in 1965.  We ended up with 32 piers installed, 21 exterior and 11 interior.

Of the 11 interior piers we needed the following:

• 1 - Kitchen
• 3 - Family Room
• 2 - Guest Room
• 2 - Kid's Play Room
• 1 - Son's Bedroom
• 2 - Girl's Bedroom

So, after seeing these photos you might be wondering...  "Did you live in the house while the foundation repair work was being done?" 

The answer is an emphatic maybe.  We're fortunate to have two HVAC zones in our house.  One of the zones covers just our master bedroom and bathroom.  The other one covers the rest of the house.  This allowed us to sleep in the house at night and for me to work from home during the day.  Our girls stayed with their grandparents for two nights.  As I recall, we ate out alot this week since we didn't have the use of our kitchen.
